About these terms
RenterWalk is operated by Igor Nechaev. By using RenterWalk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Local-first use
RenterWalk helps you organize an apartment condition walkthrough. Inspection details, notes, readings, and photos are kept locally in the app. PDF reports are generated locally, and you choose if and where to export or share them. RenterWalk does not provide an account or server sync for inspection content.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- checking that your entries and generated reports are accurate and complete before relying on or sharing them;
- following your lease, property manager’s process, and applicable law;
- having any permission required to photograph, record, export, or share content; and
- protecting your device and any copies you create or send.
What a RenterWalk report is—and is not
A RenterWalk PDF is an organizational record based on information you enter. It is not legal advice, an official inspection, a professional assessment, a guarantee of a property’s condition, or a substitute for your lease, an official landlord or property-manager form, or local law. Requirements and deadlines vary by location and agreement.
Purchases and lifetime access
RenterWalk includes the first inspection free. After that, the app may offer a single, non-renewing lifetime unlock. The app store displays the localized price before you buy.
Apple or Google processes the purchase. Payment, refunds, and purchase restoration are governed by the terms and systems of the app store where you made the purchase. RenterWalk uses RevenueCat to present offerings, check entitlements, and restore eligible purchases.
Reasonable use
You may use RenterWalk for lawful personal purposes. You must not:
- use the app to violate another person’s privacy, property rights, or other rights;
- interfere with, abuse, or attempt to circumvent the app’s purchase or technical controls;
- reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use the app or its reports to misrepresent property conditions or other facts.
Intellectual property
RenterWalk and its original interface, branding, text, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain responsibility for and any rights you hold in the inspection content you create. You may use and share reports you generate for your own rental-related purposes.
Third-party services
RenterWalk relies on services provided by Apple, Google, Firebase, and RevenueCat. Export destinations you choose are also third-party services. Their own terms and policies govern their products, stores, payment systems, analytics services, backups, and handling of shared copies.
Availability and updates
RenterWalk may be updated, changed, interrupted, or discontinued. Device compatibility and third-party services can affect availability. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or error-free, but these terms do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, RenterWalk is provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises beyond those expressly stated here. You remain responsible for reviewing reports and meeting lease or legal requirements. To the extent permitted by law, Igor Nechaev is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the app or a generated report.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits warranties, remedies, liability, or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised as RenterWalk changes or legal requirements develop. The effective and last-updated date at the top will identify the current version. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
