Who operates RenterWalk
RenterWalk is operated by Igor Nechaev. This policy applies to the RenterWalk mobile app and related support communications.
Your inspection content stays local
RenterWalk does not require an account and does not provide backend sync or upload inspection content to a RenterWalk server. Property addresses, unit details, dates, condition selections, notes, meter readings, and photo files are stored locally in the app on your device.
RenterWalk Android excludes app data from both cloud backup and device-to-device transfer; this is configured with allowBackup=false plus explicit full-backup and data-extraction exclusions. On iOS, system backups may depend on your Apple backup settings. RenterWalk does not control those settings or Apple’s backup process.
PDF reports, export, and sharing
PDF reports are generated locally on your device. RenterWalk sends a report or other inspection content to another destination only when you choose to export or share it. The receiving app or service then handles its copy under its own privacy policy.
Analytics
RenterWalk includes Firebase Analytics on Android and iOS to understand how the app is used and improve its screens and features. Analytics events may include event names; screen, room, item, and condition categories; booleans; and aggregate counts.
RenterWalk does not place addresses, free-text notes, meter values, photos, or PDF contents in analytics events. Firebase SDKs may automatically collect app, device, installation, usage, and network metadata. Learn more in the official Firebase privacy information.
Purchases
RevenueCat handles offerings, one-time lifetime purchases, purchase restoration, and entitlement checks. RenterWalk uses an anonymous RevenueCat SDK App User ID and does not set a custom user ID. RevenueCat may process purchase, app, device, and usage information needed to provide those services. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Apple or Google processes store payments under its own terms and policies. RenterWalk does not receive your card number. You can review the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
Service providers, ads, and sale of inspection content
Firebase and RevenueCat are service providers used for analytics and purchase functionality. Apple and Google operate the app stores and payment systems. RenterWalk does not include an advertising SDK, sell inspection content, or use inspection content for advertising. RenterWalk does not include Firebase Crashlytics.
Support messages
If you email support, the message will contain your email address and whatever text or attachments you choose to send. Please do not email inspection PDFs, photos, or sensitive rental details unless they are necessary to resolve your request.
Retention and your controls
- You can remove locally stored inspection data by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.
- There is no RenterWalk account or server-side inspection record to delete.
- Copies you exported or shared must be managed with the destination you selected.
- For questions or requests concerning analytics or purchase data, email lingburgapp@gmail.com. Third-party handling and deletion are subject to the relevant provider’s systems and policies.
Children
RenterWalk is intended for renters managing an apartment inspection and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has sent information through a support message, contact us so we can review the request.
Security
Keeping inspection content local reduces routine transmission to RenterWalk, but no device, storage method, or service is completely secure. Protect access to your device and use care when choosing where to export or share reports and photos.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as RenterWalk changes or legal requirements develop. The effective and last-updated date at the top will identify the current version.
